The current cost for a one-hour counselling session is $140.
Sometimes longer sessions are accommodated on a case by case basis at a rate of $175 for 75 minutes, or $210 for 90 minutes.
Unless alternative arrangements have been made, payment is required at the time of the session and can be made via credit or debit card, cash, or direct debit directly into my account.
SLIDING SCALE APPOINTMENTS
A sliding scale is any amount below the full fee. I offer a sliding scale as low as $50 on a short-term basis based on evidence of need and availability. I hold 4 slots for low-fee clients for those unable to access therapeutic support due to financial, medical or other personal restrictions. Please enquire about availability and to discuss your current situation to determine how I can assist you.
When you make an appointment, you are entering into an agreement of mutual respect, understanding and integrity. Time has been reserved specifically for you.
Cancellations
I have a firm 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel a session with less than 24 hours notice or do not show up to a session, you are responsible for paying a fee equal to the full agreed upon rate of the session.
Rescheduling
Appointments must be rescheduled more than 24 hours prior to your session. If you reschedule a session with less than 24 hours notice you are responsible for paying a fee equal to the full agreed upon rate of the session.
Late Arrivals
If you are late for a session, we will begin when you arrive and the session will end as per the scheduled finish time. If you are more than 15 minutes late and have not notified me, the session will be terminated and you will be charged the full fee.

Coverage
Services are not covered through Medicare under the Mental Health Care Plan, however some extended Private Health Care Plans and NDIS Plans offer coverage for Registered Therapists. Please check-in with your benefits provider for details on your coverage. While I do not offer direct billing, official receipts will be provided with each payment, which may be submitted to your benefits provider for reimbursement.
